Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFull S.T.E.A.M. Ahead’s Off Site Specialist is an organized, passionate individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They have a background in education and have experience working with children in various contexts. Most importantly, they are a dynamic and engaging teacher, and will travel to teach STEAM classes across multiple locations per week. They can plan and develop curricula as well as follow lesson plans provided by Full STEAM Ahead. They have a broad range of responsibilities ranging from teaching, planning, partnership development, STEAM Lab organization, and marketing.Why Join Our Team?Positive, supportive, and innovative work environmentOngoing professional training and supportCompetitive salary and benefits packageHealth insurance and 401(k) retirement planKey ResponsibilitiesTeaching STEAM classes at several different Off Site Programs (OSP) Scheduling for all OSPCurriculum Design and organization for all OSPInventory for all OSPOversight at all OSP - communicating with partner organizations, admin, teachers, ensuring quality, preparedness, etc. Generate new leads for partnerships for off site programsEstablish new Off Site Programs in and around our geographical areaOSS recruiting/hiring support - helping to find, train, and hire additional off site teachers as neededOutreach - community driven projects to increase access to STEAM programmingIT support assistanceRequirementsBachelor’s degree (Education, Psychology, Family Studies, or related field preferred)Minimum 2 years of experience as an Education Director or Assistant Director in early childhood educationAt least 2 years of management or supervisory experienceStrong leadership, organizational, and time-management skillsKnowledge of Creative CurriculumAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentGenuine passion for working with young children and supporting familiesAvailability to work full-time, on-site hoursMake a Lasting ImpactWe believe children deserve more than just childcare — they deserve a foundation for lifelong success. Their primary responsibilities take place during the school year as they travel to partner schools and organizations to teach, while during breaks they help out on campus at Full STEAM Ahead to help with the extra staffing needs during school breaks.
