To learn more visit our benefits and perks page.Position Overview:Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm The Office Coordinator & Internal Services and Security Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation safety and efficiency of the workplace. This dual-function position is responsible for managing day-to-day office activities coordinating internal services and overseeing security protocols to maintain a safe and productive environment for all employees.This is considered an essential onsite role which requires regular onsite attendance Monday-Friday.Responsibilities:Provide friendly and professional customer service/front desk coverage as needed at the front desk. Greet and direct all visitors including vendors employees and others.Act as office coordinator for Bloomington office; being primary point of contact for office related matters answering phone maintaining office supply inventoryMaintain and update seating maps for Bloomington office locationMaintain Bloomington office SharePoint siteAssists with onboarding of new hires and contractors (ready cube/office space building tour badge creation etc.)Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leaderUpholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibilityCheck for appropriate identification/authorized access (e.g. employees contractors visitors)Contact local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed/requested; report incident immediately to Employee Experience (Relations)Ensure adherence to corporate security policy and regulationsMaintain security by becoming familiar with the premises; monitor the front door; and manage the lobby and community room area primary point of contact for Bloomington office emergenciesAssist with vendor documents (NDAs SOWs MSAs Invoices); verify and process invoicesLead the Bloomington Workplace Experience Committee (e.g. Summer picnic employee appreciation events)Provide onsite support for business meetingsAssist with Budget and spend tracking by department Participates in staff meetings training and in-services and staff development programs as required by the Manager Corporate Security.Required Knowledge Skills and Experience High School Diploma2 years of relevant administrative experienceStrong customer relations skills; ability to interact professionally in person and over the phoneExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be a self-starter with the ability to work independentlyHigh attention to detailProficiency in including Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word and DocuSignPreferred Qualifications:Associates Degreein Business Administration Office Management or a related fieldPreferred candidate has base knowledge of DigiKey brand and its core valuesPhysical Requirements:Work is primarily performed at a desk and/or in an office environment for 3/4 of the day and upThe office noise level in the work environment is typically moderateGenerally spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices such as but not limited to keyboard mouse and screenGenerally spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands head and other parts of your bodyAble to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairsAble to reach with hands and arms above shoulder levelRegularly lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 25lbs from floor to shoulder heightCompensation:The starting base pay rate for this position is:$20.00Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
