Current Employees: If you are currently employed at any of the Universities of Wisconsin log in to Workday to apply through the internal application process.Position Title:Office Manager/Assistant to the AVCJob Category:University StaffEmployment Type:RegularJob Profile:Administrative Assistant IIIJob Duties:Provides general administrative support while exercising discretion to the administrator of a department or division of the institution or to the administrator of multiple institution programs services and activities.Key Job Responsibilities:Oversees general office operation including supervision of student staffSchedules logistics and secures resources for meetings conferences travel and work unit operationsServes as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups provides organizational information via phone in person and through other communication mediumsPrepares and audits complex records edits documents and reviews work done by othersDevelops sends receives copies and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and proceduresDevelops implements and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and proceduresCoordinating appointments travel and managing AVCs calendar and schedule in support of the Campus Life divisionDepartment:Campus Life and Dean of StudentsCompensation:Starting at $23.55 per hour or commensurate with experienceRequired Qualifications:H.S. Diploma or equivalentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilityExcellent computer skills including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPointAbility to work independently and maintain confidentialityPositive professional and student-centered attitudePreferred Qualifications:Associates degreeOffice management experienceEducation:Minimum Degree Required: H.S.
