Office of Communications-ReporterProducer at the City of McAllen Online

Under general supervision the Reporter/Producer writes reports and produces news and public relations stories including external and internal messaging in English and/or Spanish. This position develops content for social media streaming platforms cable network programming and City communication channels. The Reporter/Producer also creates specialized show concepts scripts for press events community programs and messaging on behalf of City leadership and the McAllen City Commission.About the Organization: McAllen is one of the fastest growing cities in America with a population alone close to 148000.
