This position is perfect for experienced cooks who enjoy working in different environments and thrive in fast-paced event settings.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, cook, and serve food on-site at events according to LCQ standardsFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesAssist with event setup, kitchen organization, and breakdownMaintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Low Country QuisineWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detailRequirements:At least 2 years of experience cooking in a catering or event-based settingValid Food Handlers CertificationAble to stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 60 poundsMust work well under pressure and in changing environmentsReliable transportation to travel to off-site events across the DFW MetroplexBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysPreferred Traits:Team player with a positive, professional attitudeQuick learner with strong time management skillsPassionate about food, presentation, and great service
