Job Description:Join our team and earn $ 31 per hour!Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Direct Hire Full Time On-Site Industrial Maintenance Technician III in ourAurora ILfacility.Second Shift (Monday - Friday 2 PM - 10:30 PM)Base Rate: $29.00 per hour$2 per hour additional for 2nd shift You are:A Performance-driven Contributor who can effectively troubleshoot repair or diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues on industrial equipment. You are a self-motivated individual who seeks opportunities to improve current practices increase efficiency and reduce downtime for industrial mail sorting equipment. You will:Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyor machines PLC systems and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipment (Mail Sorters/ Printers)Perform electrical and mechanical repairs preventative maintenance and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems hydraulic and pneumatic components motors photo-eyes relays drive assemblies limit switches proximity sensors and solenoids.Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standardsRespond to equipment break down or emergency situationsUtilize inventory pm schedule and work order systems to effectively reduce downtimeMaintain the spare parts/supply inventory utilizing EAMEvaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely mannerUtilize a tablet to track assigned work and machine downtime as well as inventory used in repairPerform all additional duties as Your background:As anOnsite Industrial Maintenance Technician III you have:2-6 years direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipmentStrong familiarity servicing conveyer machines PLC systems and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipmentExperience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipmentAbility to read and interpret schematics charts service manuals and parts diagramFamiliarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipmentExcellent problem-solving skills including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems read schematics establish priorities and work under deadline pressuresOur Team:At Pitney Bowes we do the right thing the right way.
