Our programs emphasize experiential learning clinical excellence and community partnerships and include APA- and NASP-accredited doctoral programs counseling and school psychology masters programs and nationally recognized online and hybrid ABA masters programs.About the Opportunity:The Department of Applied Psychology at Northeastern University invites applications for a 52-week full-time non-tenure-track open-rank Clinical Professor position focused on strengthening and overseeing clinical training operations across our Counseling Psychology School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) graduate programs. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.With growing enrollments our department seeks a colleague who will lead efforts to ensure regulatory compliance manage program evaluation and educational assessment oversee licensure and credentialing processes coordinate contracts and incentives for site supervisors maintain accurate placement and site databases and drive continuous quality improvement in clinical training environments.This faculty member will also play a role in expanding coordinating and evaluating clinical placements and fieldwork sites; ensuring alignment with accreditation standards (APA MPCAC NASP ABAI) certification requirements (BACB) and competency-based training frameworks; and strengthening partnerships with school community and healthcare organizations.This person will collaborate closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Clinical Training (Counseling/School) and the Director of Supervision for ABA Programs to support a cohesive developmentally sequenced training model for all students.Responsibilities:Training Quality Evaluation and ComplianceOversee data systems to assess:Supervision qualitySite and supervisor effectivenessStudent competency progression and licensure readinessStrength and sustainability of partner relationshipsAnalyze and share findings with program leadership and community partners to guide continuous quality improvement.Support licensure and certification processes for graduates (e.g. psychologist licensure pathways LMHC/LMFT requirements BCBA fieldwork verification).Contribute to accreditation- and assessment-related activities across programsPartnership Development & Site CoordinationDevelop and sustain partnerships with clinical agencies school districts hospitals ABA centers and behavioral health organizations.Expand and maintain a high-quality placement/site database and monitor capacity based on enrollment needs.Evaluate new and existing sites for alignment with program competencies accreditation standards and supervision expectations.Coordinate all partnership agreements contracts and site supervisor incentives.Communication Teaching & ServiceServe as a liaison among site supervisors program faculty and students to support shared expectations and clear communication.Teach courses related to professional practice supervision or applied clinical skills (teaching load aligned with operations responsibilities).Engage in departmental and college service and contribute practice-based scholarship (e.g. supervision competency development training evaluation).Qualifications:RequiredDoctorate in Counseling Psychology School Psychology Clinical Psychology Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field.Licensed or license-eligible psychologist LMHC LMFT LABA or other relevant credential in Massachusetts (or eligible within 12 months).Experience supervising graduate trainees in clinical school or behavioral health settings.Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills.Additional Information:Interested candidates should apply here with a curriculum vita that includes clinical credentials professional experience supervision responsibilities and any relevant scholarly or applied contributions.Please also include statements addressing the prompts below along with contact information for three professional references.
