About the organization: Compass Family Services is a 100 year old nonprofit working on the front lines of San Franciscos homeless crisis. We provide families experiencing or at risk of homelessness with comprehensive support to address immediate needs and ensure long-term success.About the team: Compass Urgent Accommodation Voucher program provides temporary emergency hotel rooms for families and pregnant people in addition to a hotel room the program helps families connect with services and a path to stable housing.Compensation: $29-31 hourly 37.5 hours per weekSchedule: Full time Monday - FridayLocation: 1254 Market St. San Francisco. Fully in person (NOT hybrid or remote)Organizational Core Competencies: Accountable I Adaptable I Client-centered I Collaborative I Committed to Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging I ResourcefulResponsibilities:The Operations Assistant supports the Program Director in managing daily tasks of the Compass UAV Program. This includes clerical and administrative work as well as package delivery bag packing and supply ordering. Specific responsibilities include:Assist with continuous quality improvement (CQI) and data quality checks to ensure staff meet funder requirements and maintain compliance Support with note-and-minute taking in meetingsCoordinate and approve Lyft rides and other transportation for frontline staffAssist with research related to community resourcesCreate and manage a master calendar for all UAV program activities Deliver packages from the Compass main site to hotelsReceive and organize food and other deliveries Coordinate with hotel owners on operations including maintenance repairs deliveries Pack client food bags for pantry distributionDisseminate administrative materials to client roomsComplete monthly UAV program supply ordersAdditional duties as assigned Qualifications:Impeccable attention to detailExcellent written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage competing prioritiesExcellent work habits: punctual reliable cooperative team-orientedAbility to work independentlyAbility to adapt and be proactive in program processesStrong problem-solving skillsStrong computer skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality in client and personnel mattersAbility to lift 30 poundsDemonstrated commitment to diversity equity inclusion and belonging workCompensation and Benefits:Salary range: $29 - $31 per hour based on a 37.5 hour work week. Non-exempt.Paid time off: 4 weeks of vacation your first year 5 in your second. Also paid holidays sick time family leave.Insurance: health dental and vision insurance are fully covered by Compass for employees and dependent children.
