Pulls counts and verifies book product for customer orders timely and accurately. Verifies and packs book product for customer orders.  Completes Q&A sheets as necessaryEssential Duties:Checks shipment quantity against bill of lading and inspects condition of cartons and skids signs as received or completes discrepancies overage shortage damaged paperwork as necessaryWorks shipment based on receipt by separating cartons by title placing cartons on conveyor counting and inspecting books and completing breakdown ticketsUnloads cartons from conveyor line and sorts them onto pallets based on warehouse zonesRemoves product from boxes verifies title and location and places on shelves in an orderly mannerBreaks down boxes and packing materialsObtains picking list or task group assignments from leadership inputs order into production system and gets cartPulls/ verifies correct number of each item from shelves based on the task assignment using paper Radio Frequency (RF) or voice- activated processes and places books on cartScans order out of production when completed and pushes cart in the correct staging areaChecks for damages and verifies data on customer order including entry number and number of books while packing orderDetermines the proper packing method for various size orders to arrange books in the most compact manner onto corrugated cardboard boxes t-boards or flats according to allowable weights for method of shippingOther DutiesPerforms other duties as assignedEssential Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesReading comprehension skills up to high school levelWriting skills up to high school levelMath skills basic arithmetic addition subtractionAttention to detailAbility to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environmentAbility to perform repetitive manual tasksAbility to work independently or collaborate in a group environmentAbility to be flexible/multi-task based on workflow demandsAbility to meet and maintain production standardsAbility to maintain reasonably reliable attendanceAbility to read write speak hear see think communicate concentrate learn and workEducation and Experience1 year work experience in at least one previous job6 months work experience which included walking standing lifting/carrying pushing/pulling gripping/grasping bending squatting/kneeling twisting/turning climbing crawling reaching above shoulders typing/keyboardEssential Physical DemandsAbility to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shiftAbility to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 45lbs during the assigned shift 45lbs or less frequentlyAbility to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 40lbs force to push during the assigned shift 35lbs or less frequently and 36-50lbs occasionallyAbility to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shiftAbility to bend squat/kneel twist/turn climb crawl reach above shoulder and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shiftAbility to work designated shift including overtime as required which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekendsExposure to wide range of temperaturesQualifications :   Additional Information :  $20 per HourWhy Youll Love Working for ICG:Casual dress codeConvenient location Schedule:B Shift Wednesday-Saturday (Alternating every other Wednesday)  7:00am-7:00pm The world is reading and Ingram Content Group (Ingram) connects people with content in all forms.
