ECMC Foundation makes investments to remove barriers to postsecondary completion; build the capacity of organizations, institutions and systems; and transform the postsecondary ecosystem using a spectrum of funding structures, including strategic grantmaking and program-related investments, to support both nonprofit and for-profit ventures.Job SummaryThe Operations Associate provides consistent administrative support to the ECMC Foundation team in the Washington D.C. office and support as needed to the broader Foundation team. This role will work independently and with the Operations team to ensure the Foundation team has the necessary support and resources, and will work to optimize office operations, enhance engagement, and contribute to ECMC Foundation's objectives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide operational and administrative support to local and visiting employees, guests, and vendorsProvide administrative support to local and visiting executives, as neededMaintain flexibility in the daily schedule to ensure proper levels support, whether the need is in person or virtualPartner with key members of the broader organization to deliver the appropriate support in a variety of spaces (e.g., security access, building requests, parking arrangements, IT support, etc.)Maintain organization within the office; manage the delivery and coordination of projects including stocking and refilling supplies, managing food delivery logistics, handling mail and packages, etc.Assist in the planning, execution, and expense tracking for events and/or meetingsSchedule a variety of meetings and events to support the activities in the office and virtually; support ad-hoc scheduling needs and meeting preparation requests as requestedSupport onboarding tasks for new employees, including organizing office tours, ensuring proper desk set-up, scheduling necessary connections, etc.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED2+ years of experience in office administration or operationsProficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, Asana, and virtual meeting tools (e.g., MS Teams)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailEffective time management and ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and keep stakeholders informed of progress and/or challengesAbility to handle confidential information and use discretion in applicable situations.Ability to provide service and support in a hybrid office environmentOccasional travel (
