This role provides leadership for our customer-facing associates and branch functions.Position DetailsReports toConnorHiggins BranchManager12associates direct oversight of5associatesResponsibilitiesChampion the development implementation and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols practices and toolsDrive safety quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectivesAct as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments to improve operation resultsEnsure warehouse operation is led with efficiency and successHandle inventory control in our warehouseInteract with vendors to coordinate inventory returnsQualificationsBachelors Degree is preferred equivalent experience will be considered2 years management / leadership experience coupled with handling inventory / operational tasksWarehouse Management System (WMS) experience is recommendedAbility to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirementsOutstanding organizational and leadership skills to optimally respond to urgent situationsMust be process oriented with good judgment and decision-making abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to lead a teamA confirmed understanding of OSHA and DOT regulationsStrong technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft O365 applicationsAt Ferguson we care for each other.
