You'll oversee every stage of production to ensure high-quality, cost-effective output while keeping the right labor resources in place. Day to day, you will: Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives Step in to solve major production challenges and support safe, smooth startups Drive performance to reduce changeover and startup time Tackle high scrap rates head-on, using 5-Why analysis to find root cause Partner with the Quality Manager to fix quality issues as early in the process as possible Lead, motivate, and develop production teams through positive coaching and incentive initiatives Coordinate across teams to encourage idea-sharing and cross-team learning Monitor and supervise production activity, oversee shifts, and assign work for balanced workload distribution Champion lean principles and practices across the floor Ensure all personnel comply with health and safety policies Step in as Plant Manager when needed, and take on special projects as directed What You Bring: B.S. degree in Operations Management or Business Management preferred. 15+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in an automotive environment In-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles, techniques, and methods, with proven discipline in applying them Demonstrated ability to influence across multiple functions - within a single site and across multiple locations Strong leadership presence with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams Sharp problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational awareness Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong presenting skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) A valid driver's license Bonus: Spanish language skills are a plus Interested in hearing more?
