About the Client: Our client is a fast-growing team-oriented freight forwarder specializing in domestic expedited air and ground shipments. About the Role: This role is for candidates with real experience in Air Import or Export operations especially those who have actively quoted routed and dispatched domestic airfreight or time-critical shipments. It can suit a strong operator or someone ready for a player-coach leadership role. Key Responsibilities: Execute and manage domestic expedited shipments including airfreight dedicated trucks straight trucks and sprinter vans.Quote route book and dispatch shipments while ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.Utilize airfreight carrier networks airline routing knowledge and dispatching best practices to optimize moves.Integrate ground brokerage resources when needed to support airfreight operations.Communicate directly with airlines ground agents carriers and customers to coordinate end-to-end shipments.Verify routing carrier cut-off times equipment availability and pricing accuracy.Manage costing billing and pricing steps for each move.Maintain strong relationships with carriers vendors and internal teams.Work effectively in a time-sensitive detail-driven environment with high accountability.(If applicable) Lead or help develop an airfreight or brokerage desk as a hands-on player-coach. Qualifications: 2 - 4 years experience in domestic air freight forwardingnot trucking warehouse or parcel backgrounds.Strong knowledge of airfreight routing quoting dispatching and expedited operations.Ability to confidently manage complex or urgent shipment scenarios.Bonus: Experience with WorldTrack TMS 7L or direct airline booking systems.Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills.
