DescriptionNOTE: A Term position is a staff position that exists for a period of longer than six months but is not expected to last beyond one year. Although a position may exist for a specified or indefinite period staff who accept term positions are not guaranteed employment for the entire period; they are employed for indefinite periods within the limit of the appointment. There are no guarantees of continued employment either within the term or when the term ends.Position SummaryResponsible for assisting the Director of Finance in the sound operations of the Credit Union. Develop and maintain reliable accounting information and reporting on income expenses assets and liabilities as it relates to the fulfillment of operations and financial reporting. Ensure effective and efficient financial soundness smooth operations quality member service and compliance with regulations and policies. Has direct responsibility for data entry account reconciliation and reporting of operations functions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperations (70%) the daily operations of the Credit Union. VUMC payroll pay/return and charge/waive decisions on share draft and ACH report. and reconcile wires rapid cash and ACH transactions. daily upload of Courtesy Pay files. daily reports as assigned by their Supervisor. the GL and VCU bank accounts. teller checks. daily monthly and quarterly GLs. and resolve ATM and Debit Card Disputes. and coordinate the resolution of overdrawn share draft accounts. OFAC.-off Debit Card and overdrawn deposit accounts. deposit and financial issues as they are escalated to you. projects as assigned by their Supervisor.Member Service (20%) back-up support to the teller line or Member Service functions as the Credit Union staffing needs arise. phone calls as needed.Administrative (10%) items as needed. back-up to the Director of Finance.Educations and Experience:Associates Degree or higher in business or accounting related majorOr 3 years in a related credit union banking insurance or finance field.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Financial Services,Information Technology,Cost Control,Corporate Risk Management,Law Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Administrative Support Experience: years Vacancy: 1
