Job Description

POSITION SUMMARYOversee and supervise a work group to meet department goals.Schedule is Sunday from 11:30am - 8:00pm Monday -Thursday from 3:00pm-11:30pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and WILL require overtime.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting performance reviews delegation and communication. Provides measurable feedback suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements. Conducts interviews hiring and training as necessary.Supports the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associates.Assists with process improvement initiatives.Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards.Ensure excellent customer service and communicationReceiving:Check in product completely and accuratelyStock products correctlyLoading:Pick product for daily deliveries along with special deliveriesLoad trucks using good judgment regarding use of space and product safetyReturns:Inspect and physically count returned merchandiseRestock inventory in appropriate placeOutbound freight of vender returnsPaperwork for all warranty productUnloading of customer/inventory transfers from corporate warehousesOperate power equipment including fork-liftMay work as a backup driver as assigned or directedOUR BENEFITSHighly competitive wages starting at $25.00-$28.00/hr depending on experience!Weekly payWork boot reimbursement programHealthcare benefits available your first day on the job401(k) with Generous Employer Contribution AND MatchPaid Vacation Sick time and HolidaysOn-the-job training and skill developmentTuition ReimbursementEmployee Discount ProgramsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk hear taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g. rolling destacking team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots safety vest harness seatbelt SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots.Work environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.QUALIFICATIONS3 years of related experienceSkills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpersKnowledge of or ability to learn computer systemsWilling to work overtime or flexible hours on short noticeGood memory and scanning abilitiesGood communication and math skillsAble to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basisAble to learn to use a forkliftMay require valid drivers license and conformance with company driver policySuccessfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
