Shape the future of healthcare distribution.As an Operations Supervisor you will play a critical role in ensuring our distribution center operates smoothly and remains competitive. This position combines leadership in continuous improvement projects oversight of training and project teams and collaboration with managers and supervisors to maintain operational excellence.What Youll Do: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Oversee training programs and project teams to ensure operational readiness Assist in planning and directing warehouse operations Maintain high morale and work standards across teams Train manage and develop staff performance Control expenses turnover and overtime Ensure equipment and housekeeping meet exceptional standards Collaborate with leadership to solve problems at the root level Ensure compliance with federal state and company policies Travel for new hire orientation and training in Texas (1 week)Minimum RequirementsMinimumEducation &TypicalExperience orEquivalentCombinationTypically requires 3 years ofsubject matter experienceincluding exhibiting leadershipcapabilities 3 years operational experience 12 years managerial/leadership experience Large-scale distribution center experienceCritical Skills:Strong leadership and employee engagement abilitiesProficiency in MS Office (Excel intermediate level)Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree preferredExperience in logistics supply chain warehouse or manufacturingWMS experience and MS Access proficiencyFamiliarity with DEA regulationsSkilled in interviewing coaching evaluation and record keepingPhysical & Schedule Requirements:High-energy distribution center environmentOnsite role with flexible hours (typically 8 AM start; may adjust based on business needs)Some overtime requiredWhy Join UsAt McKesson Pharmaceutical we offer a culture of diversity opportunity and growth.
