Thats the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.OVERVIEWThe Operations and Visual Manager is a critical member of the store leadership team accountable for bringing ALOs operational and visual strategy to life in the store. This individual is passionate about inventory management labor planning and scheduling and visual execution all with a lens on driving an efficient and effective store operation. This roles north star is pointed at ensuring that the store is customer-ready at all times. Duties require constant movement in and around the store including the sales floor and back of house. When not actively assisting guests this position takes initiative to perform other tasks as needed to keep store clean safe inviting and operating efficiently.Operations & Visual LeaderOversee and support execution of key operational and visual processesInvestigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues partnering with the General Manager to escalate process or system gapsChampion strong visual standards for the salesfloor by leveraging business performance dataSupport sell-through management by ensuring accuracy of inventory counts and coordinates labor hours to efficiently receive product deliveriesSupports a safe work environment and efficient operation Business LeaderRepresent the business in meetings and on conference calls in partnership with General ManagerReview Monitor and partner with General Manager to manage the budget reporting and other business data; including metrics (e.g. Expenses Sell-Thru) and inform planning processes (e.g. quarterly business review and sales planning)Future planning workflow business needs to protect optimal performancePeople LeaderEnsure that the Operations and Visual team exudes ALOs mission and guiding principles to effectively communicate to our guests who we are what we do and why we do what we doLeads a team through accountability continuous coaching development of talent and elevating KPI or results driven communication throughout the Operations and Visual teamEstablish internal & external pipeline through succession planning and recruitment strategyWrites an effective schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy in partnership with the General/Store ManagerFlow Experience LeaderOversees the execution of Flow experience deliverables while protecting operational efficiencyCollaborates and implement General/Store Managers vision and work cross-functionally with business partners as directed to support organizational goals and to achieve inventory and sales floor KPIsDemonstrate an ability to navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand cultureOperations & Visual Manager Qualifications3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel and Outlook) Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writtenAgile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environmentAligns with and embodies ALOs Guiding PrinciplesIndependent work ethic time management skills and personal accountability Requires constant movement in and around all areas of storeAbility to lift push carry or otherwise move up to 50 poundsAbility to lift bend kneel climb crawl and/or twist and safely climb up/down a ladderAbility to stand and move for an entire shiftOperations & Visual Manager ScheduleTo build a balanced schedule that supports the needs of the business and our teams we expect all full-time employees to be available for opening closing and weekend shifts.
