We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the worlds toughest challenges like protecting the environment making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.Location/Division Specific Information:Millersburg PA Single-Use manufacturing locations.How Will You Make an Impact:Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product.How will you get there Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a drug screening.A Day in the Life:Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industryRead manufacturing drawings and follow standard proceduresManufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprintRecord and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirementsDrive safety culture and quality in all activitiesResponsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriateParticipate in the Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards GEMBA JDI RCCM and/ or Kaizen eventsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Required: No previous work experience requiredKnowledge Skills Abilities:Follow all safety protocolsDrive quality in all activitiesStand and move about including reaching bending stooping graspingUse hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping grasping pushing and pulling Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassistedPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as the need arises for production schedule adherenceThe Clean-room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.Specific gowning is required including: gloves hair & beard net and face cover safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry and the like.
