This Nutrien location stores and distributes anhydrous ammonia which is moved inbound by Rail or Truck and outbound by truck. The role includes handling shipments for both incoming and outgoing product fertilizers recording data and making operational corrections as required.Looking for your next opportunity as your season wraps up Join our team for a permanent hands-on role with on-the-job training!What you will do:Maintain operate and monitor equipmentMaintain and operate computerized and non-computerized control systemsPerform terminal site preventative maintenanceAmmonia compressor pump and condenser maintenanceHose testingTroubleshoot analyze and repair site equipment to ensure site equipment reliabilityPump seal replacementValve repair and replacementRecord and enter data readingsMeasure ammonia product and manage daily inventoryAssist and Train drivers to load and unload product onto trucks through pump and piping systemsGeneral ground maintenance including mowing weed eating and snow removalAssist in contractor assessments and permitting of contractor tasksProvide excellent customer service to all internal and external customersAdhere to local state and federal governmental regulations and standardsEntering Data into Computer system Job Task Evaluations Process Safety events update and review Terminal Procedures Equipment Maintenance Reports and participation in morning toolbox and various other safety meetingsWhat you will bring:Minimal experience required On the job training providedHigh school diploma or equivalentValid drivers license requiredSafety mindsetPositive attitudeTeam oriented and reliableStrong written and verbal communications skillsPossess intermediate computer skills including Microsoft OfficeWorks with minimal supervision and is self-motivatedWillingness to learn with continuous improvement mindsetAvailable for overtime and to be on-call to support Terminal during non-typical working hours as requiredMust be willing to travel occasionally for training courses and/or to assist at other terminalsInstrumentation/electrical experience an assetProcess Safety Management (PSM) experience an assetMust live within a 35-mile radius from the siteMust be capable of wearing and passing respirator fit evaluationThis position includes a 90-day probationary period during which the employees suitability for the role will be assessed.Ready to make an impact with us Apply today!The estimated salary that Indeed Glassdoor and LinkedIn lists does not represent Nutriens compensation structure.
