Sort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code

Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in appropriate shipping/holding area

Unload materials from incoming trucks and stack them safely in their designated areas

Unload trucks and deliver materials

Operate forklift, yard truck and other mobile equipment

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region

Assist in performing inventory on material

Perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, pushing, reaching, bending over, climbing, and kneeling

Other duties as assigned in general support of the organization

Minimum 1 year experience in construction and or manufacturing environment

Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders

Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Exhibit exceptional customer service skills with internal and external customers

Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements

Ability to operate a forklift

Ability to lift to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for extended periods of time

Valid drivers license with clean MVR

High School Diploma or GED preferred
