We are a leading provider of innovative products and services!Shift Information2nd Shift/AfternoonsHow Will You Make an Impact:The Manufacturing Operator plays an integral part of operations as a member of one of our manufacturing department teams to ensure life-saving products are created handled and delivered safely on time and with the highest quality standards.A Day in the Life:Work within a manufacturing environment both individually and within a team to ensure customers receive a product that exceeds quality specifications.Communicate with several work groups to ensure the completion of daily production.Work in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to area-specific PPE requirements.Safely operate manual and automated filling equipment.Safely operate pallet jacks.Handle and process materials that are in temperature sensitive conditions in accordance with established policies and procedures.May be required to safely operate a 26 foot box truck and transit vehicle.Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:No experience requiredPreferred: 1 year experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge Skills Abilities:Proficient verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of the metric system and ability to perform conversions.Ability to follow standard operating procedures and cGMPs. problems collect data establish facts and draw conclusions from identifying errorsPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentAbility to lift 25-50 pounds.Able to work in normal to extreme conditions: Ambient Cold Room (2-8F) Freezer (-20F) and Ultra Cold (-80F).What We OfferCompensationCompetitive Hourly Pay Rate starting at $21/hrAdditional shift differential for 2nd shift and 3rd shift positionsAnnual performance-based bonusAnnual merit performance-based increaseExcellent BenefitsBenefits & Total Rewards Thermo Fisher Scientific Medical Dental & Vision benefits-effective Day 1Paid Time Off & Designated Paid Holidays401KTuition ReimbursementEmployee Referral BonusCareer Advancement OpportunitiesCompensation and BenefitsThe hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $16.78$25.70.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
