Operator, Machine C 2nd Shift OEM at Barnes

Core Responsibilities:Primary duties are to set-up and operate CNC Grinder EDM or Laser machines ensuring parts conform to specification and requirements.Monitor parts dimensions using jigs fixtures gages calipers micrometers and height gages to assure conformity of parts.Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.Checks paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit fastening parts and sub-assemblies per customer order.Uses precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions.Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM.Qualifications:Able to use basic math to add subtract multiply or divide and may work with fractions decimals or percentages.Able to follow simple instructions or directions.Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements work in progress or work completion.Ability to meet deadlines.Must have two years of experience in a production/shop position.Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentInstructions:INTERNAL APPLICANTS can submit their application and/or resume to Lisa White / in Human Resources.At Barnes career development is a shared responsibility in which all employees are encouraged to develop improve and enhance their skills and professional growth to support our business objectives.
