Job Description
Title: Oracle Database Expert (Enterprise-Scale) Location: Las Vegas NV (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Description: We are seeking a senior hands-on Oracle Database Expert to architect engineer and optimize our mission-critical enterprise-scale Oracle infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses deep mastery of the entire Oracle stack specializing in high-performance complex clustered environments. Key Responsibilities Architect and Manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) focusing on cluster interconnects CRS/Grid Infrastructure ASM and failover optimization. Engineer and Maintain Exadata appliances (X7 X10 preferred) managing cell nodes storage servers patching cycles and resolving hardware/firmware issues. Lead Performance Engineering efforts resolving high-volume OLTP bottlenecks tuning execution plans (AWR/ASH) and diagnosing complex contention issues. Design and Implement real-time data mobility solutions using GoldenGate microservices ensuring zero-downtime bidirectional replication and conflict resolution. Develop and Optimize advanced PL/SQL code refactoring procedures and working directly with application teams to improve database-driven logic. Manage comprehensive backup and recovery strategies executing RMAN-based cross-platform backups and precision point-in-time recovery (PIT). Required Expertise Oracle RAC & Clustering: Expert in architecture management and tuning of multi-node RAC environments. Exadata Internals: Hands-on experience with Exadata storage cell nodes and system-level diagnostics. GoldenGate: Proven experience with microservices architecture troubleshooting bidirectional replication and conflict handling. Performance Tuning: Deep skills in analyzing AWR/ASH reports and optimizing execution plans for demanding OLTP workloads. RMAN & Recovery: Mastery of RMAN for backup disaster recovery and data refresh automation. PL/SQL: Advanced development debugging and optimization skills within a production application context.
