Dentist opening in Princess Anne, MD130 miles to Baltimore, MDDescription:The Dentist provides dental care services to patients, as well as consultation services on matters appropriate to the practice of Dentistry to other members of the health care staff. Provides consultation and assistance to the dental residents assigned. This position reports to the Department Head of Dental. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package.Essential Job Functions of this position include but not limited to:Establish rapport and identify patients chief complaints, general needs and expectations.Knowledge to provide preventive, therapeutic and educational methods for controlling oral disease as an aid to patients.Anticipate, diagnose, and provide treatment and follow-up management for dental treatment.Practice within the scope of ones competence and make referrals to professional colleaguesSelect, obtain, and interpret clinical, radiographic, and other diagnostic information and procedures.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of dentistry with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental MedicineCurrent State of Maryland license, CDS, and DEA1 to 2 years experienceBilingual is a plus but not required.This position is with a Federally Qualified Health Center located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland. We have 12 locations in Pocomoke, Princess Anne, Berlin, and Salisbury, Maryland. We are accredited by the Joint Commission for Ambulatory Health Care Centers and Behavioral Health Care, as well as a Certified Primary Care Medical Home.
