Full-time Monday - Friday Report to Chief Pediatric Dentist Excellent benefits package included.Responsibilities Oversee and assist the pediatric residents ensuring they are providing appropriate care to pediatric patients. Diagnose and treat any disease, injury, malocclusion, or malposition of a tooth, gum, jaw, or structure associated with the head and neck as appropriate. Provide oral health education to patients and families. Establish rapport and identify patients chief complaints, general needs and expectations. Knowledge to provide preventive, therapeutic and educational methods for controlling oral disease as an aid to patients. Anticipate, diagnose, and provide treatment and follow-up management for dental treatment. Practice within the scope of one s competence and make referrals to professional colleagues as appropriate. Select, obtain, and interpret clinical, radiographic, and other diagnostic information and procedures.Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine. Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry. Current State of Maryland license, CDS, and DEA.
