Order Fulfillment Specialist at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
Order Fulfillment Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Order Fulfillment Specialist to support our Manufacturing Team. This role is crucial in ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time, contributing to the smooth operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders or kits based on work orders and customer requirements.
- Deliver materials and supplies to work areas and stage finished products for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through counting, weighing, and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Control Supervisor to identify shortages and recommend purchases.
- Use FIFO inventory management to maintain stock quality and shelf life.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with company standards.
- Cross-train within the Materials Management team to provide coverage during peak periods.
Essential Skills
- Prior stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tasks.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and ERP systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management, data entry, order entry, and order processing.
- Proficient in customer service and support.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Experience in fulfillment, stage, kitting, inventory control, programming, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Associate's degree in supply chain, production, or logistics.
- Creative problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Ability to work independently.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $56160.00/yr.
