Job Description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine section is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our team of two experienced Hand Surgeons, four exceptional Hand PAs, and two Certified Hand Therapists. This is a well-established practice that involves the care of hand and elbow conditions only - general orthopaedic coverage is not expected. As a tertiary referral center for the Pacific Northwest, one would be entering a high volume practice that includes a nice mix of bread-and-butter hand and elbow conditions as well as more complex cases. The practice location is shared between our downtown Seattle campus and one of our regional medical centers. There is access to an ASC as well as a procedure room for wide-awake surgeries. We have a strong reputation for excellent patient care and highly rated surgical outcomes. Our practice covers all adult conditions from the elbow to the hand.

Compensation $410,931 - $503,652 /year DOE (initial salary range based on 25th-50th percentile for surgeon productivity), and additional consideration for years of experience, research, education, and administrative contributions, as well as internal equity. After the salary guarantee period, this position will be compensated based on work RVU productivity.
