Texas Orthopedic Hospital is seeking an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join its team of existing Orthopedic Specialists in Houston Candidates: Must be board certified or board eligible in orthopedicsAbility to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standingCandidates with experience or new fellows will be consideredPhysician Duties & Responsibilities:Meet with patients to assess their symptoms; inquire into the nature of their illness or injuryAccurately identify and diagnose medical conditionsThoroughly examine patients and attend to their chief complaintAnswer and advise on any other questions or concerns the patient might haveAssign appropriate treatment plan according to each patients needsEducate and inform patient of necessary treatment plan and any follow-up appointmentsPerform clinical tests to better inform diagnosisPerform Office-based procedures Prescribe appropriate medicines or therapyCalculate correct medication dosage for each patient and educate on proper useOrder outside diagnostic tests and lab work as neededAnalyze and share results of diagnostic testing with patientContinually chart and maintain patient information on paper and in computer systemConduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition and progress Key Skills Crew Management,Cost Estimation,Infection Control,AC Maintenance,Auto Parts,Fire Alarm Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
