Location: Situated outside the capital of SC, this vibrant city continues to grow into a major diverse and urban area with a bustling downtown area. Conveniently located near I-95 and I-20, take a quick drive to escape to Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or Columbia. Opportunity: Seeking a Locum Orthopedic Hand Surgeon Start/Duration: Ongoing coverage needed but one week of coverage per month Coverage needed 1 week a month (Monday Friday)Coverage will include outpatient clinic and hospital coverage, NO trauma call and NO weekend coverage.Schedule will be:Tuesday and Thursday Clinic 8 am 5pmMonday, Wednesday and Friday in the OR from 7:30 am 5:00 pm with additional add on surgeries possibleVolumes:# of inpatients rounded on per day: 0-5Expected Surgical Volume on OR days: 5-12 cases per dayExpected # of Patients per day in Clinic: 20-40 per dayNO APP support, but we do have MA s and Cast Techs to help in the clinicEMR = EPICMust be comfortable with hand trauma, but we do not do replants or oncology for orthoAge range: 15 and up Requirements BC or BE OrthoSC Medical LicenseCSRDEA that can be permanently registered in SC Dates: January 19-23 February 23-27 March 23-27 Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
