Two hospitals require orthopedic surgery call coverage for specific dates in August and October 2026. The facilities highly prefer candidates who can cover both coverage periods and require board-certified orthopedic surgeons.

This Iowa region features notable attractions including the Field of Dreams Movie Site and the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, along with opportunities for cultural tours and cave exploration. The area offers entertainment options throughout the year, including concerts, fairs, farmer's markets, and festivals. The orthopedic surgeon will provide comprehensive call coverage across inpatient, operating room, and emergency room settings at two hospital facilities. The clinician must maintain 24/7 availability during the specified assignment dates with no clinic responsibilities expected. Board certification in orthopedic surgery is mandatory, and the position requires prescriptive authority for complete patient care management.
