Job Description SummaryThe Lead Program Integrator - Hardware (LPI-HW) is responsible for driving New Product Introduction program execution for a product (hardware content) and introduction of new hardware into an established Installed Base (IB). Develops and executes the hardware integration strategy and ensures that the necessary resources are applied and delivering to addition works with a small to midsized cross-functional team to ensure product manufacturability reliability serviceability safety and quality. Thats because we never lose sight of what healthcare really needsthe human touch.Not open to Sponsorship or OPT for this roleJob DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that the product development process abides to the business Engineering Quality ProceduresPhased Review Discipline and regulatory needs of the applicable marketsWorking with the system subsystem/platform and service leadership teams to deliver quality reliable products on time within budget and with the necessary featuresPlanning resources and materials for timely NPI program and IB executionWorking with the functional engineering leadership team to grow functional and domain expertise within the teamPlan and coordinate all aspects of hardware integration at the component subsystem and system level.Required QualificationsBS Degree in Computer Science Mechanical Electrical or Biomedical Engineering5-7 years relevant work experienceDesired CharacteristicsMasters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).Demonstrated applied 6 Sigma competency.Demonstrated experience with NPI ISO and regulatory compliance process design history file and collaterals are in place and currentCreative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements business demands and technical risks/issuesDemonstrated skills in proactively identifying facilitating and driving closure of a product/programKnowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (ePDM)Attention to detail and ability work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignmentsAbility to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex productsExperience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project#MyRoleIsVital#Everyrolesvital#LI-BR1#LI-Onsite#ProductManagementNot open to Sponsorship or OPT for this roleWe will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
