This role provides exposure to multiple aspects of control system development whether interface design to cybersecurity implementation.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and recommend technologies for modern control room environmentsSupport the design and prototyping of control system interfaces using simulation toolsAssist in implementing security controls and best practices for operational technology systemsGather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to inform design and security improvementsContribute to documentation templates and standards that support customer operationsExplore opportunities to integrate advanced technologies into control systemsEvaluate computing technologies to support control system feature enhancements built on generative AIRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or other STEM Majors (Science Technology Engineering and Math)Desired QualificationsExperience in Human Machine Interface Design or Graphic Design experience w/ Computer Programming knowledgeInterest in control systems user interface design or cybersecurityAwareness of large language and small language artificial intelligence models and prompt engineeringFamiliarity with zero-trust cybersecurity principlesBasic knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus OPC UA) or SCADA systemsFamiliarity with design tools or security principlesAwareness of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligenceGE Vernova offers a great work environment professional development challenging careers and competitive compensation. Relocation Assistance Provided: YesFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $71600.00 and $107400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
