The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced OUSD Policy Analyst to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (ASW SO/LIC) in Arlington VA.Are you a policy analyst currently working within OUSD looking for a new challenge This role offers an opportunity to apply your existing OSW policy experience to a dynamic portfolio covering special operations counterterrorism information operations irregular warfare and counter-unmanned systems (C-UXS).As an OUSD Policy Analyst supporting ASW SO/LIC youll leverage your established policy analysis skills while expanding into strategic defense challenges at the intersection of special operations and irregular warfare. Youll work on emerging operational concepts particularly in the counter-unmanned systems domain while maintaining the high-level coordination and senior leader engagement youre already familiar with in the OUSD environment.Key Responsibilities:Support SO/LIC policy development and oversight for irregular warfare and information operations including preparing senior leader engagements drafting read-ahead packages and tracking action itemsMonitor and assess global counter-unmanned systems (C-UXS) campaigns providing recommendations on policy guidance operational plans and intelligence integrationCoordinate with uniformed planners and senior OSW leadership to evaluate policy and resourcing implications of emerging operational conceptsFacilitate integration between U.S. Special Operations Command and stakeholders across DoW interagency and intelligence community through preparation of briefings talking points and executive summariesWhy This Role If youre ready to take your OUSD policy experience into special operations and irregular warfare challenges this position offers the chance to work on some of the most pressing and evolving national security issues while building on the foundation youve already established.Qualifications : Bachelors degree (BA/BS)Active Top Secret clearanceAt least three (3) years of Policy experience within the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) or Joint Staff.Additional Information : The Red Gate Group Ltd. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
