We care about our team member well-being and offer benefits that complement and support your work/life balance.Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Outpatient Infusion Nurse is a highly skilled and compassionate nurse responsible for providing direct patient care administering infusions and managing the care of patients receiving a variety of intravenous therapies in an outpatient setting. This role requires extensive knowledge of infusion medications strong assessment skills patient education abilities and a commitment to patient safety and comfort. The Outpatient Infusion Nurse collaborates with physicians pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.To be successful in this role you will possess keen assessment skills acute critical thinking and a patient-first mindset driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Your sense of urgency and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment will not only support patient recovery but also fuel your own career advancement.Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including allergy history vital signs physical assessment and review of medical history prior to infusion administration.Review physician orders for accuracy completeness and appropriateness of therapy.Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs physician orders and infusion protocols.Monitor patients continuously throughout the infusion process assessing for adverse reactions pain and discomfort.Prepare and administer a wide range of intravenous medications including but not limited to:Chemotherapy and biotherapy agentsWe are offering a sign on bonus up to $25000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
