Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTitle: Outreach Coordinator (Contract)Location: Chester, VAContract Type: W2, ContractRate: $25.00 – $30.00/hrContract Duration: Until EOY 2025 (with possible extensions)About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Outreach Coordinator with experience in community engagement and/or marketing. This role will focus on connecting with local organizations, coordinating participation in community events, and ensuring the effective distribution of Energy Assistance program information. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, personable, and comfortable managing multiple outreach initiatives.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with local agencies, community centers, churches, and VA locations to arrange participation in onsite events.Staff event tables through the company’s volunteer portal and represent the organization at events.Distribute program information via email, social media, and other outreach channels.Participate in team discussions to share ideas and best practices.Track, document, and report all outreach activity to management.RequirementsCommunity engagement and/or marketing experience required.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to use social media platforms for outreach.Reliable transportation required.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.Willingness to work occasional weekends.Travel required within one assigned territory: VA, OH, or KY.EligibilityMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
