Learn more about The Ringling at https://www.ringling.org/careers.Responsibilities Primary responsibilities:Serves as a point of contact for all venues and posts, indoors and outside, within the Ringling's 66-acre campusModels and ensures compliance of the Ringling Security Operating GuidelinesEnsures the safety of all persons and property with a focus on customer service Performs routine inspections and utilizes a golf cart, multi-line telephone, and two-way radioAs needed:Directs performance of security personnel in the absence of the Safety & Security Coordinator and Security SupervisorsProvides oversight and operation of the Ringling Museum Security Operations CenterAssists in execution of emergency plans concerning evacuation of venues in the event of fire, disasters, or other emergency situationsAssists individuals involved in accidents or injured on campusPrepares written reports of accidents, incidents, and general conditionsQualifications EducationHS diploma or GED Physical RequirementsStand and walk for long periods Ascend/descend stairsAbility to work in all types of weather conditionsSkillsValid Driver's License or ability to obtain prior to hirePlease note, a driver's permit is not acceptablePreferred Qualifications Ability to:Work well with others to achieve common goals with teamwork and cooperation. Within the first twelve months in the position, the incumbent must have completed all required training including but not limited to: First Aid Certification, Blood-borne Pathogens Training, Weather Spotter Certification, FEMA Online Incident Command System courses IS 235 and 240, and Basic Campus Fire Suppression System Training with all training provided by The Ringling.Working Hours10:15 PM - 6:45 AM with 30 minutes for lunch. This posting is to fill multiple positions with varying working days including weekends.
