Job Description
National Power is seeking an experienced Owners Representative Manager (OR Manager) to ensure the success of its critical infrastructure operations. The OR Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the organization and external stakeholders for critical infrastructure projects within the National Power Division. This role ensures that all projects are executed in alignment with the owners strategic objectives regulatory requirements and operational standards. The Owners Rep Manager will oversee project delivery from conception through commissioning safeguarding quality budget schedule and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & OversightAct as the owners advocate in all phases of project development and execution.Manage multiple large-scale power and critical infrastructure projects simultaneously.Ensure alignment with organizational goals safety standards and regulatory compliance.Customer & Vendor RelationsServe as the central point of contact between owners contractors engineers and government agencies.Facilitate communication resolve conflicts and ensure transparency across all project stakeholders.Budget & Schedule ControlDevelop monitor and manage project budgets and schedules.Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on progress risks and mitigation strategies.Risk & ComplianceIdentify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation measures.Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations governing critical infrastructure and power systems.Technical OversightReview design documents construction plans and technical specifications to ensure adherence to owners requirements.Oversee commissioning testing and handover processes for operational readiness.Team LeadershipLead and mentor a team of project managers coordinators and technical specialists.Promote a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering Telecommunications or related field (Masters preferred)8 years of experience in critical infrastructure service management with at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems batteries and cooling systemsFamiliarity with FAC-COR certification and federal acquisition regulationsExcellent leadership communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret schematics flowcharts and technical specificationsRelevant certifications (e.g. PMP ITIL CISSP) highly desirableCompetencies:Strategic thinking and problem-solvingStrong financial acumen and contract management expertiseAbility to manage complex stakeholder relationshipsCommitment to safety reliability and operational excellenceResilience under pressure and adaptability in dynamic environmentsPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of timeAbility to stand walk and move throughout office and facility environments as neededOccasional lifting and carrying of materials up to 20 poundsAbility to travel to client sites and missioncritical facilities which may involve walking across uneven surfaces and standing for inspectionsVisual acuity to read and prepare documents review contracts and observe site conditionsHearing and speech ability sufficient to communicate effectively in person by phone and during meetingsCompensation & Benefits:Compensation is based on experience and knowledge of the qualificationsMedical dental vision life and disability insurance401(k) retirement savings planPaid time off and paid holidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesAdditional Information:Criminal background check pre-employment drug screening and a valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are requiredThis role involves extensive travel to various job sites up to 100%. Candidates must have the ability to drive long distances and overnight stays may be necessary based on project locationOvertime and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
