Please adhere to the following in particular when in a manufacturing area: No shorts halter tops or cut-off T-shirts No open toe/heel shoes or high heels in plant No extremely loose clothing No dangling jewelry Job Description The Packaging Operator I role is the entry level role at the Mt. Vernon facility. This role is responsible for packaging cleaning and relieving for breaks. This role will primarily work in the production area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Spotting out-bound trucks into material load docks ensuring dock-locks Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeeding the material to the forehearth Packaging operator placing bags on bagger equipment snouts ensuring proper packaging of finished goods material Performs general cleanup duties in designated areas (including but not limited to sweeping floor blowing down the line/robot cleaning break rooms etc.). Assist with Preventative Maintenance processes Perform special needs as determined by plant staff Participates in safety and housekeeping programs as established within the plant.
