Together we reimagine good mornings and endless summers strive for more sustainable ways to beautify and bond and do it all with not only confidence but determination.Position Title: Packaging Operator IIPrepared By / Date: November 1: Re-name position title onlyDepartment: ProductionApproval / Date:Reports To: Production SupervisorDirect Reports: NAESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Packaging Operators are required to pack product in boxes on the line set-up materials film labels cartons etc.Must be able to clean and sanitize production lines with chemicalsRequired to know the quality aspects of the products and be able to recognize defectsPerform hourly quality checks as specifiedAdhere to Safety/OSHA/GMP/FDA requirementsHousekeeping/Lean/5-SPerform other lead/supervisor directed tasksRESULTS EXPECTED:Produce product while meeting all production and quality standards to be trained and qualified in at least three of the following additional areas: Non-woven Chemical Processing Tech Elsner SRU and back up leadKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:High school diploma or equivalentMechanical abilityAbility to function in team environmentBe able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production ratesGood hand/eye coordination requiredMechanical aptitudeBe able to pass basic math testsBe multi-taskingWork SafelyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to see well enough to inspect product prefer 20/20 vision correctedMust be able to stand for long periodsMust be able to walkMust be able to climb using a step ladder and climbMust be able to lift 5-35 lbs. frequently; periodically up to 50 lbs.Must be able to grip/grasp frequentlyEdgewell is an equal opportunity employer.
