Packaging Technician II - 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and packaging industry, is seeking a dedicated Packaging Technician II to join their team. As a Packaging Technician II, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Fall River, MA

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr + $2 shift diff

Shift: 6:00PM - 4:00AM

What's the Job?

• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on packaging machines
• Unjamming equipment to keep production lines running smoothly
• Performing basic repairs and adjustments to machinery
• Supporting preventative maintenance activities
• Monitoring automated packaging equipment to prevent downtime

What's Needed?

• Experience operating conveyor and automated packaging lines
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machinery maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
• Comfortable working in a cold environment (3035 degrees)
• Attention to safety and quality standards
