PACU RN – Outpatient Surgery Center (Contract or Permanent)

We are seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy outpatient surgery center with a strong orthopedic focus. This role is available as either contract or permanent, offering flexibility and a supportive perioperative team environment.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule with option for 3–4 shifts per week

• No call

• No weekends

• 9 paid holidays (permanent roles)

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate in the mid $50s (based on experience)

• Contract or permanent options available

• Full benefits for permanent employees

Requirements

• Active RN license

• Minimum 1 year PACU or OR/ICU experience required

• Strong assessment and post-anesthesia recovery skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting

Contract RN Requirements

• Experience in Phase I and Phase II recovery required

• Strong understanding of ambulatory surgery center (ASC) workflow and expectations

• Independent PACU skillset preferred

Permanent RN Consideration

• ICU nurses with strong critical care experience will be considered

• ER nurses will also be considered for permanent roles

• Training provided in PACU recovery, Phase I/Phase II, and ASC operations for strong candidates transitioning into the role
