ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Thoroughly review each repair order prior to beginning work on the vehicleComplete all paint preparation processes for vehicleMay prime edge or jam replacement partsKnow how to properly sand and prep for paint new parts and blend partsKnow how to properly sand and featheredge surface for primerAble to properly block panels for refinishingAble to mask and spray the correct amount and coats of primerAble to mask all panels and cover car to minimize tapelines and overspray on vehicleUtilize all required safe equipment and follow proper refinishing procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelinesAdheres to all requirements hazardous waste disposalMaintain a clean and organized workspace QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredEffective communication skills requiredAbility to work in high performance fast-paced team environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsValid drivers license PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to perform repetitive tasksVision abilities required include close distance and depth perceptionPeriodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 poundsReaching above and below shoulder levelExtended periods of kneeling bending squatting and stooping to complete or inspect repairsEye-hand coordinationMay be exposed to fumes chemicals high level of dust and noise in repair areaMust be able to wear protective equipment including a respirator This position description is intended to be dynamic and subject to change.
