Job Description Job Description Paint QC Tech 1st shift $20.00-23.00per hour Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM What Matters Most: Competitive Pay $20.00-23.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Location: Winter Park, FL Temporary - to- Hire opportunity with career growth and stability Weekly pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description: As the Quality Control Auto Painter, you are responsible for performing paint repairs, coatings and quality control checks on finished vehicles. This will include bodywork, sanding, spraying, blending and ensuring paint applications meet quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Mix coatings with thinner and catalyst to correct mixture, using color mixture equipment
- Apply coatings to meet coverage and gloss standards
- Perform bodywork (Bondo), sanding, buffing, glazing, and blending to ensure smooth surfaces (Paint Repairs)
- Use paint-related tools including DA Sanders, Orbital Buffers, Spray Guns, and Pneumatic Grinders (Tool Operation).
- Paint the parts and understand the acceptable quality of finish
- Clean and inspect parts prior to painting
- Fulfill all painting requirements to include from parts painting to complete vehicle paint, both in solid and metallic colors
- Check all painted materials for proper surface condition and proper paint preparations and repair as required
- Must have extensive experience in vehicle painting, including paint repair, spot repair, bodywork, and vehicle paint preparation.
- Must be able to meet production requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 3-5 years previous experience with automotive painting.
- Knowledge of painting, sanding, bonding, and paint mixing.
- Must possess mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
- Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
