JOB DESCRIPTION
Industrial Painter
We are seeking a skilled Painter for our first shift from 7 AM to 3 PM. This role involves the use of various painting equipment and techniques, including liquid paint spray and electrostatic powder coating. You will be responsible for mixing and thinning paint, maintaining spray equipment, and applying below-grade polyurethane using plural component spray equipment. Additionally, you will perform deglaring processes on galvanized poles and use measuring devices such as dew point meters, dry film thickness gauges, and surface profile gauges.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain liquid paint spray equipment.
- Mix and thin paint to required specifications.
- Maintain and operate plural component spray equipment for applying below-grade polyurethane.
- Perform deglaring processes on galvanized poles after mixing chemical ingredients to proper specifications.
- Use electrostatic powder coating equipment and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Utilize measuring devices including dew point meters, dry film thickness gauges, and surface profile gauges.
Essential Skills
- Experience in sandblasting and painting.
- Ability to operate painting equipment and perform maintenance.
- Proficiency in using measuring devices for quality assurance.
- Familiarity with electrostatic powder coating techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Carpentry skills.
- Experience as a Cutoff Operator or Lathe Operator is a plus.

Work Environment
This role operates at Level 4 and includes training on the day shift from 7 AM to 3 PM before transitioning to designated shifts. Employees receive a starting rate with an additional shift differential. The work environment supports professional development and skill enhancement in a hands-on setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.41 - $29.41/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
