We strive to foster an inclusive welcoming and respectful environment for every team member.Job Description: RSi is looking to fill a Painter Foreman position to support our NASA customer.The Painter Foreman oversees daily painting operations ensuring high-quality compliant work across wood metal and structural surfaces. This role combines hands-on painting expertise with supervisory oversight requiring strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques paint types and application methods. The position independently plans work details selects appropriate equipment and processes and guides painters in delivering consistent professional finishes. Candidates should have deep experience in paint mixing spray and brush application and advanced surface preparation methods.Job duties:Direct daily operations of painters to ensure compliant high-quality work.Ensures painter duties in painting walls woodwork and fixtures.Must prepare surfaces by sandblasting sanding applying chemical degreasing and etching solutions metal conditioners and wash primers.Must paint a variety of wood and metal items primarily by spraying with lacquers and acrylics.Must independently plan details of work selecting method equipment and process best suited for a particular requirement.Qualifications and Experience: In general the work of the maintenance painter requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
