Come Take Flight at KSU!Location Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.Job Summary Oversees assigned staff, student assistants and operations within the assigned retail and/or residential dining operations on a specific campus and/or location, which may include oversight of both front and back of the house operations. Assists managers with scheduling, team development, and meeting budgetary goals.Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Provides a dining experience that meets the lifestyle needs of students2. Ensures the program provides exceptional food variety, quality, cleanliness and freshness3. Assists and coordinates with maintenance and facilities to ensure the dining program has equipment that is well-maintained and functional at all times4. Responsible for leading, supervising, training and development of assigned staff and/or student assistants5. Assists leaders in managing expenses, generating revenue and the overall financial success of the assigned program and/or location6. Assists management in implementing new culinary programs and promotions in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teamRequired Qualifications Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentRequired ExperienceOne (1) year of supervisory experience in a food service establishmentPreferred Qualifications Additional Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of MS Office SuiteManager ServSafe CertifiedPreferred Educational QualificationsAn undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related fieldDegree or certification from a culinary arts or hospitality programPreferred ExperienceExperience in a Higher Education food service establishmentLeadership and/or training experience in a food service establishmentProposed Salary The salary range for this position is $17.50 to $19.50 based on relevant experience.
