Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough and timely review of documents related to mass tort cases, including medical records, pleadings, depositions, and correspondence.
- Organize and manage large volumes of documents, ensuring proper categorization and identification of relevant materials.
- Assist in identifying key evidence and potential case strategies through document analysis.
- Prepare summaries and reports on relevant findings to support case development.
- Collaborate with the senior attorney to prepare expert binders, exhibit lists, and trial notebooks.
- Draft and maintain templates for legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Manage attorney's calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange meetings as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document retrieval.
- Conduct legal research to support case arguments, motions, and legal strategies.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide case updates and gather necessary information.
- Assist in preparing clients for depositions, meetings, and trial testimony
- Work closely with other members of the legal team, including paralegals, attorneys, and support staff, to ensure seamless case management.
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Mass Tort Paralegal with a focus on document review and administrative support.
- Proficient in legal research, document management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in mass tort litigation is preferred.
