JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our personal injury practice. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys by assisting with case preparation, document management, and client communication. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while gaining valuable experience in personal injury law.
We are a trial based firm with a significant case load, so we expect our paralegals to be flexible and diligent. It is important that you are comfortable with running a case load and working independently. Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years as a paralegal personal injury or related field preferred
- Must be able to work in person at Kingston, NY location
- Must be a team player
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Spanish speaker a plus
- Surrogates court experience a plus

Responsibilities:
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, bills of particulars, discovery responses, motions, trial preparation, and complying with court orders
- Reviewing, analyzing and summarizing documents, including medical records
- Ensuring that documents are timely filed with Courts
- Calendaring and keeping track of Court conference dates
- Facilitate the meeting of attorney deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
- Record and store client information
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift, includes 1 hour paid lunch break
- Monday - Friday
- Overtime upon request and approval
- Non-remote but several office locations available to staff once established
