This is the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success.The Paramedic provides safe and effective care for patient(s) within the scope of practice in accordance with physicians orders established standards and administrative policies as part of the health care team. The Hospital Inpatient Paramedic also:Functions under the direction of the hospital based Medical Director who will be the Paramedic Medical Director.The lead Paramedic coordinates the daily activities of the paramedic staff so that all processes are completed accuratley.Follows the Medical Directors determined scope of practice for the Paramedic within the Acts Allowed specified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Oversees all first aid room functions to ensure high quality standars are met regarding servicing the needs of patients physicians regulatory agencies outside entities and all internal departments.Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:Three years of experience as a Paramedic in an Emergency Department and/or emergency pre-hospital settingDemonstrated ability to function in a team environmentStrong communication skills; Ability to read write speak and understand EnglishBasic computer skillsHigh School diploma or GED required within one year of hireGraduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized byColorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of PublicHealth and Environment (CDPHE)Advanced Cardiac Life SupportBLS from the American Heart Association requiredPhysical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Key Skills Administrative Skills,Facilities Management,Biotechnology,Creative Production,Design And Estimation,Architecture Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
