Job Description

Paraprofessionals within the Abington Public Schools work closely with general education and special education teachers in order to meet the needs of all students in a grade or classroom. The responsibilities of Paraprofessionals may vary between grade and school building due to differences in students developmental levels. The most common responsibilities of a Paraprofessional include the following:Supporting a teachers daily instructional plan and implementing differentiated instruction and clarification as with small groups of students or one to one with a single the classroom teacher in responding to students behavioral physical and academic active awareness of students IEP and 504 arrangements and the educational impact of their accommodations and modifications to Special Education students on an as needed and gathering information about student progress to general and special education staff so that teachers may use this information to guide instruction and liaisons may use this information to track progress and adjust service daily building-based operations as assigned by the principal.Required Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Campaigns,Client Server,Admin Support,LNG,Document Management Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
